Waitin’ on a sunny day–English Version

“I’m waitin’, waitin’ on a sunny day, gonna chase the clouds away, waitin’ on a sunny day.” (Bruce Springsteen)

Oh dear, it’s raining for 3 days now. Not nice. The dogs are soaking wet every time when they come from outside - despite their fab raincoats. So we need about 20 towels a day to get them dry again.

Somehow I had imagined spring differently, nice and warm, birds singing and the first spring blossoms. Okay, I know that spring starts officially on March 20, but stil a girl can dream.

Because I have no desire to go out and take photos in the rain here are some photos from March 2015 instead.

Two years ago we were in London and the weather was great! This time we were in Clerkenwell, a historically very interesting, really special district. There we found this olive tree:

This is St. John's Gate in Clerkenwell, the gateway to the former priory of the Knights of St. John, built in1504. It is amazing how multifaceted London is. From Clerkenwell, it’s only a 20 minute walk to the city center.

Please pay attention to the blue sky! Here’s another photo from Greenwich Park, just to proof that blue skies do exist!

I REALLY hope that it will soon stop raining !!!!
